Summary: The picture quality that this camera produces exceeds my expectations, even with the kit lens. The camera body is small but still easy to hold and steady and feels to be made of high quality. It's light weight and easy to carry around, especially when using a compact lens. The micro 4/3 lens selection is pretty good and the cost of the lenses is significantly less than equivalent DSLRs. I'm very, very happy with this camera, especially considering the price.
Summary: This is my second micro 4/3 camera. I love the size and capabilities. I have a Nikon D90 which I love too, but it's so much bulkier and hard to travel with that I use this camera exclusively now. I have the body and two lenses that I carry in a bag that's barely bigger than my Nikon camera itself. The images are amazing. The touch screen is great although I haven't used it much.
Excerpt: Serious amateur photo guy looking for a compact camera to replace my ailing Powershot. Looked at all micro 4/3s and soon was down to Panasonic and Olympus due to the lens selection. Wanted to keep the cost of the body down so overlooked some really nice LUMIX and PEN-P5 as the sensor and controllers looked similar in features.
