Summary: I have been shooting the Omd Em-5 underwater and on land for almost a year now and it has not disappointed. Light weight and compact size is great for traveling to destinations where bag size is always an issue. Highly recommend the Omd series cameras.
Summary: This is my 3rd Oly camera and likely the best! The performance and features rival any camera on the market. The pictures and video are outstanding. I was so impressed, I bought my wife one as well. I cannot wait for our SCUBA trip to St. Maarten and Kitts.
Summary: Once the camera was in hand, the learning process started. The camera is more than the ads could ever convey. When used with the 60 mm macro lens a whole new world is opened up. Something as common as a house fly is turned into a hairy monster. The camera is truly light and easy to handle.
Summary: This is the camera that I considered good enough to jump into mirrorless cameras. I liked the retro styling, reminding me of my first camera the OM-1n. I love the size, the quality of the pictures and the available lenses for this camera. I did struggle with the ergonmics of this camera.
Summary: One of the best cameras I have owned,Seems like I have put My DSLR'S away now.I have allwaysed liked Olympus Cameras and this one is great little camera with a lot of feathers.Way to go Olympus you have done it again. My only regret is that I didn't order one of the motorized lens with it.I wish they...
Summary: I've had the camera for several years now and have used it with a wide variety of lenses and loved every single one. I'm just getting into professional photography and this camera does everything I need. My only complaint is lack of support of third party TTL flash.
Summary: I had been practicing film photography for fifty years, mostly with Leica M and Olympus OM. I had waited until digital looked good enough to switch. Three years ago I reviewed the state of things and choose the OM-D E-M5. I have never regretted that decision.
Summary: I've used this camera for everything from action sports and night photography to landscapes and portraits and have acquired some pretty great captures in the last couple years. It does everything a full-sized DSLR can do in a much more compact and portable package.
Summary: Bought with 14-42 lens, added 14-150. Great kit. Covers nearly everything I shoot. Love the LDC and the EVF, the programmable buttons for switching between RAW and jpeg, AF and MF for use with OM legacy lens and adaptor. Perfect size for me. Great IQ, dynamic range, bright sensor.
Summary: As many others have said, great camera. A little heavy with the 12-40/2.8 lens. I got this from Cool Japan Osaka for $1029, and that is a great deal. I spent the $25 on expedited shipping, and it came as promised. Manual is in Japanese; using on-line manual.
