Summary: I bought this camera from Amazon in December 2004. I have taken thousands of photographs one of which was published full page on the pull out section of a newspaper. In the end it is a pull it out of your pocket and snap camera but I have taken it everywhere with me since 2004. It takes AA batteries rather than being rechargeable but this has the advantage of flat batteries being able to be replaced in the nearest corner shop in emergencies..
Summary: I've owned this camera for nearly 3 years now and I'm still really pleased with it. The picture quality is praised by friends who own much newer and more expensive digital cameras. It's very easy to use. I do not understand the many comments about battery life (this is my motivation for writing this review): I use ordinary rechargeable batteries and they have lasted a whole week on holidays where I have taken in excess of 200 pictures.
Summary: Excellent little camera, people giving bad reviews about battery life should go to there local camera shop and ask advice!! I admit standard and rechargable batteries won't last the day, but i asked in my local camera shop and was told to buy lithium batteries, i bought a pack of eight (camera uses two) and i'm now on my final pair TWO years and thousands of pictures later!!
