Great camera in this older Olympus series!
30 October 2014
Summary: I have used the C5050, C5060 (4 cameras) and now the C7070. The 7070 is by far the best in this series and has less issues with the mode dial defect that all the C5060 cameras have eventually come down with. Although fixable, the mode dial issue becomes a non-issue with the C7070.
Summary: I have only used the basic functions so far. I have not had time to load the discs that came with the camera,to learn more. But if the advanced functions are on par with the basic functions I am sure it will be spectacular, because the pictures I have taken far exceed any other camera I have ever...
Superb camera for Underwater photography and macro
17 November 2010
Summary: The functions for underwaterphoto is marvellous in this camera when you add the underwater housing. On land the supe macro function is the best I seen in any camera. This is my seconf camera of same modell and to be sure to have the modell for a long time I bought a second one.
Summary: I love this little camera. This is a compact fixed lens camera that a professional would like. Some of the unusual features include a OVF, B mode and manual focusing. All aspects of this camera were way ahead of it's time. I use this as a car camera or when i don't want to be seen carrying my DSLR.
Summary: This has been a great camera to supliment my DSLRs. I take it most everywhere. Great macro features, nice quality and plenty of auto and manual settings. Fairly quick to set, a little slow focusing in low light, works great though with my FL36 and FL50 flashes. Good battery longevity.
Summary: I've had this camera for 3 years now and have taken it on many trips. I chose this over the Canon G6, which is also a very good camera. Both brands use the same SONY sensor but I prefer the way Oly render its images. The 27mm WA lens is also a big plus as I mainly shoot landscape.
Summary: The C-7070WZ, by Olympus, is a unique camera with features that are not to be seen in many other digital cameras. You can probably get a digital camera that will take as good or better pictures, but your adventure in composing a shot, dabbling with camera features and experimenting with shutter,...
Summary: I've been a '7070 user since early 2005 when Olympus released it. As of now, it's no longer sold and anyone lucky enough will find it on eBay or some other place. I highly recommend the '7070 to anyone interested in a high end camera that delivers on incredible levels.
