Great camera for high quality photos for indoor and outdoors
9 March 2013
Summary: Great camera. Although it is larger in comparison to the smaller, slimmer versions of today, it is worth it. Very good clarity at close-up indoor photos as well as outdoors. The lens makes all the difference that I cannot find in other cameras today unless you want to spend a hefty sum.It takes double AA batteries so get a set of re-chargeables and you're not tied into having to buy a special battery to use it.
Regarding the Olympus Camedia C 3020 Digital Camera
4 April 2011
Summary: The Olympus speaks for itself. This is my second Olympus Camera that I have. I wanted one that offer more options to it. The C3020 has a lot to offer to someone like me. I am a picture taking person, I use it for Genealogy research., Family get together and friends and different occasions. I like the way it feels in my hand. It is in very good shape. I have added some items to it for use with it.
Summary: This is a good camera but no way to take the pics off to put them in your documents...so its no good to me...She told me to go to website of Olympus to download but I couldn't find anything there either, so If you buy one of these cameras make sure they have the driver download or CD to download it or its worthless...
Summary: I was looking for a camera with the capabilities of taking shots automatically or manually. This camera has so many options it makes photography fun! I recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries and a larger memory card for maximum use of the camera. I find that it doesn't zap battery power like I thought it would. The LCD screen is large enough to see what you are taking a picture of and reviewing pictures taken.
Summary: After reading glorious reviews, I ran out and paid top dollar for a Camedia. After using the camera for six months, all the pictures produced a red splotch in the upper left corner. Fixed under warranty but repair person said this was a common problem. Could happen again. After repairs pictures now washed out. Lens cap is easy to loose and you must remember to take it off before turning on the camera or lens motor will grind. Camera has many bells and whistles.
Summary: I purchased this camera in August 2002 as my first foray into the world of digital photography and have used it a lot since. Overall I have been very pleased. It feels comfortable in the hand and takes extremely clear pictures with good color balance. I have taken pictures in environments ranging from the beach at mid-day to the top of the Empire State building at night and the camera managed well in all cases, though as with any camera, camera-shake at night is a...
