Great little camera

Summary: I have had this camera for about 3 or 4 years now, it has outlasted many Geocaching adventures, being dropped and rain. It still works perfectly to this day. I am only replacing it due to the many new features the new Olympus Tough's have.
Summary: I purchased two of these for my kids, one is a snowboard instructor in Tahoe and the other married and playing on the east coast. My son puts this thing to the test and it shines, they both love their cameras.
Summary: We recently purchased this Camera to replace a Sony Water Proof Model. I was impressed with the Large Display and the many Different functions available. Also Purchased the underwater housing for Diving shots and have been impressed with the picture quality both above and bellow the surface.
loved the camera but returned it - NO SOUND CAPABILITY

Summary: I was not as careful as I thought when I researched this purchase. The camera is awesome, but I really wanted to be able to take short movies (with sound!) and voice annotate photos for later reference. The model below and above this one (the 500 and the 800) both have sound. This one does not.
Excerpt: Awesome little snapper for those times and places when a big or bulky camera will just take up too much room or get smashed into tiny little expensive pieces! The best thing is the rugged construction and strong lens cover that slides into place when it turns off, it means that it really can live up...
Pros: Strong, Tough, Good Shots and Awesome Design
Cons: Slow Autofocus/Shutter Speed, Wont survive being buried on a beach too well .
Summary: I have had this for over 2 years, and just replaced it with a Fuji Finepix which has a better Optical Zoom for a similar cost. Big plusses are lightweight, very long battery life, easy to navigate.I have also found this camera to be very robust, trust me if there is a way to break a camera, I can do...
Excerpt: I've always been an Olympus camera fan, and have bought quite a few of them over the years - not because they're unreliable and need constant replacing, but because technology moves on and I don't like to get left behind!
Pros: excellent lens, good range of features, large (2 . 5") LCD screen
Cons: No viewfinder, small buttons, not great for contrajour shots
Excerpt: I bough this carema about a year ago as it was the best quality we could find for the lowest price- 6 mega pixels - right now Amazon have got it for 174.0 GBP. It takes really high quality pictures, the zoom is easy to use and the picture options and functions are great -I don't even know how to use...
