Camera rejected 4 (good and approved) memory cards

Summary: I didn't have the opportunity to take one photo. The camera rejected all three (approved) memory cards that I tried. I took the camera to Walmart to try a new memory card and still it didn't work.
Summary: This camera arrived dead in the water. After trying three separate SD cards and receiving error messages, I sent the camera back. I couldn't take a picture or even try the camera out. This camera was simply defective so I gave it one star. This is an older model and perhaps it had been refurbished. I did see a couple of markings on the camera upon receipt that suggested I may not have been the first one to hold the camera.
Please, do not buy!!! Brand new camera does not even work out right out of the the box!

Summary: If you are looking for a camera, please look elsewhere. I should have listened to the poor reviews on Amazon but did not. Electronics should be treated as if you are buying a hotel room. A hotel with a handful of reviews stating poor service/bed bugs/unclean should be avoided, even if there are plenty of good reviews for the hotel. The same goes for electronics. I work outside the USA and bought this camera for a trip to Paris at the end of the month.
Summary: Takes nice photos BUT broke 3 times since I have owned it! I'm through with Nikon. I bought this thinking it was the best thing out there at the time and paying big bucks for it... one day it just wouldn't turn on! I called and they told me to send it back to Nikon. After spending lots on shipping and insurance they did finally get it back to me fixed. Not sure what was wrong with it in the first place. then again 3 months later same thing and now again last week-end!
Summary: We bought this camera in March of 2012. Worked fine until August of that same year. We were on a trip and it just died. Super annoying and we had to send it in to get it fixed. Then less than a year later after getting it fixed, it died AGAIN! Now it's out of the warranty to be able to get it fixed. $600 down the drain. Just called customer service and they won't do anything. Thanks Nikon. Super disappointed and I feel like I got taken.
Do Not Buy-Nikon Does Not Stand Behind Their Product

Summary: Junk!!! Do Not Buy. I have owned this camera for 1 year and 1 month. It just quit working. Seems to be a common problem with this camera. There isn't any power when I push the on/off button. I called Nikon and since it is out of warranty I will have to pay to have it repaired. That's what I get for buying Chinese crap!!!! I have invested a lot in accessories which are now useless because they don't work on any other camera.
Summary: this camera broke a week ago - just a few days after 30 day Amazon return warranty. Authorized Nikon Repair in Chicago Illinois says they have to take the camera apart and find out whats wrong - some type of switch/electrical issue. If there is anything I can do to return the camera in exchange for a new one - and Amazon can follow up on 1 year warranty, it would be greatly appreciated.
Summary: This is the worst camera in the world! It broke within days and the factory had to send me a new one...THAT broke within days. I think I may have taken 5 pictures in total with it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
