Summary: I have owned a Nikon D90 for a little over a year, and I LOVE every aspect of the camera. I purchased it used (on eBay) and, at the time, intended for it to be my “practice” camera as I built a portfolio for my professional photography business. Well, I have been so pleased with the images that I have produced using this camera that the D90 has remained my primary camera for my business (note: I shoot portraits, weddings, events, and products).
Excerpt: Nikon refurbished cameras are supposed to be "better than new" according to many forums, but the one I received was a dud. The shutter button was scuffed up and the camera wouldn't turn on after charging the battery. It appears to have been either defective or damaged.

Refurbished cameras are supposed to be refurbished by the manufacturer, so this wasn't directly Adorama's fault, but I was obviously still disappointed with my purchase.
Excerpt: Having had my previous Nikon D90 stolen, I simply wanted that same body back. I had been offered the D3100, D5300, 7100 and so on, but I wanted that 90 back. Finding a refurbished one at Adorama was a real bonus for me. When I received, it on time, as was promised, it was in mint condition. I had it out of the box, clicked the lenses on one by one and was out shooting within the hour.
As always, both the D90 and Adorama lived up to my expectations.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
Summary: I cannot for the life of me figure out why there was not mention of the critical fact that the camera will not function without the memory card! Someone needs to apply a bit more thought and intelligence to the product listings, especially a relatively expensive camera such as this.
Pros: Controls appear be well thought out, finish seems nice.
Cons: Got the wrong charger cord - could not even charge the battery AND NO MENTION WAS MADE ON THE PRODUCT PAGE THAT THE CAMERA DOES NOT COME WITH A FLASH CARD AND YOU CANNOT USE IT UNTIL YOU GO BUY ONE!!!! WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF THAT INFORMATION WAS NOTED ON THE PRODUCT PAGE SOMEWHERE???? WHEN I CALM DOWN, GET A FLASH CARD AND THE CORRECT CHARGER CORD, I WILL SUBMIT A MORE THOROUGH REVIEW OF THIS CAMERA.
Summary: I am still learning my Nikon D90 and all the functions it has - this quick reference card helps a lot. I would like it each section was separate - what I mean is this is one bug sheet that folds up - think it would be easier to use or find info if it were cut into separate cards and put on a ring of some sort so you can easily flip through it. Other than that it's a great product.
