Great Nikon camera even though it is a few years old!

Summary: Best Nikon "bang for the buck". Very sturdy alloy. Don't let the 10.2MP fool you, the lens of Nikons is amazing. I get tack sharp pictures, true white balance and pretty fast FPS out of this camera. You can always use RAW and resize how ever bigger you may want for a final jpg file. No issues here. Worth the money. Highly recommend.
Summary: So I purchased this camera used, in "good" condition. So, although it seems like that could have been upped to a "like New" condition, I will not let that phase the review. For starters, What I like about the Camera This D-SLR fits very comfortably in the hand. The grip is well molded to fit my average sized hand and makes it very easy to use it for prolonged amounts of time.
Summary: Great camera: good price, condition was better than I expected. Has all the instructions, thankfully: there's a lot to learn with digital photography that even 40 years of driving Nikons can't teach you--my first Nikon product was a Nikkormat FTN in 1973 and I've used Nikons exclusively, professionally and personally ever since.
Summary: I bought this combo for the lens asit has great latitude and is NOT available new anymore, and the D80 is a great camera that operates older lenses; a great combo and as it turned out the camera had less than 5000 clicks! I have a d5100 for video and this for other great pics,, very satisfies!
One sentence? Not possible. There are just too many things to say!

Summary: I am so incredibly happy with this little honey! I was surprised to find an extra lens included, extra rechargeable batteries, an extra LCD screen protective cover, an USB shutter cable (just need a tripod now!)a VERY nice Field Guide, & the actual Nikon Field Guide! VERY, VERY, VERY pleased and happy! The ONLY problem I have experienced with it, is the flash sticks when I try to lift it by hitting the button on the side of the camera.
Summary: Excellent camera with great price (for a used one bought on Ebay( My dad has the D70 for 7 years now and he is very happy with that, i was looking for something similar in affordable price and decided about the D80. this camera is great, Nikon improved all little annoying things from the D70 like replacing the old CF card with an SD card and like a larger screen that in essential.
Summary: Yes, 2012 is drawing to a close in a couple of months, and I just reverted back to a camera introduced in 2006 - the D80. Why on earth did I do that? The D50 I started with in 2005 was a fantastic camera. Well, I got caught up in the megapixel marketing hype AND digital video craze, and decided it was time to upgrade. So I sold my D50 and went for the D3100. The D3100 is a great camera on paper; the specs are excellent.
