Summary: I would give 5 stars but it's not as easy to figure out like my D5000. So much for that...The pictures from this camera are amazing...I am a professional photographer and my 2nd 1st set of pictures landed one of my clients two commercial roles.
Summary: Pros: Incredible Start-up speed, Burst speed is blazing, Battery-Life is outstanding, Manual control offers many options, and looks like what it is - a real camera. For the price - exceptional camera. Cons: Steep learning curb on manual controls if new to DSLR - this is true of all DSLRs though.
Great camera and a sleeper for the digital community. Rugged and easy to use.

Summary: Still one of my main rigs. This camera was so good I bought two for "just in case". crank up the definition and it takes fantastic shots that can be blown up to bigger than life. It is so easy to use and makes you and your work look professional every time.
Summary: Can't recommend this camera enough. Best battery life of any of the DSLRS I've ever tried-- battery seems to last for weeks. I've been using it almost daily since 2006 and it works as good as new. The body is incredibly solid. Heavy, utilitarian, and highly functional.
The D80 was a disappointment, but I still use the others

Summary: This was my first DSLR in 2007. Next a D80, then a D90 and now I have a full frame D800. The D80 was a disappointment, but I still use the others. The D 70S is still one of my favorites, and the only thing that limits this great camera is the small LCD screen.
