Excerpt: I knew in advance that I wanted a Nikon 7000, but just didn't want it enough to pay the latest prices for a "last year model". I use a Nikon D90 and have always been happy with my choice of a Nikon product, but when I saw Rockwell's notice on his web page including his valuation vs the new D7100... in addition to it's refurbished availability from Adorama [a store I have purchased from repeatedly with Excellent results], I decided to order one.
Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
Excerpt: The refurbished camera came out of the box looking brand new. I've been using it for a week and couldn't be happier with it's performance. The images are crisp and detailed; the colors are perfectly rendered. The photos are at least twice as detailed as with the Nikon D50 it replaced. I should have purchased it sooner.
Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
Excerpt: I am new to photography. I did a little research before this purchase. I stumbled upon the Ken Rockwell page and he gave rave reviews of this camera and buying a refurbished model. So, I took a gamble and I'm glad I did. I can't tell this camera was even refurbished!
How I use this product: I take pics of everything: family, pets, friends. I'm not a pro photographer, and never will be. So, I use it just for fun.
Excerpt: I decided to upgrade to the D7000 when my D80 died( dreaded ERR.) I am very happy I choose this refurbished body over a new D5200 I was concidering. The refurbished body I got is indistinguishable from a new one. The D7000 has the advanced features I am used to that the D5200 doesn't. For one, this one focus motor allowing me to use the lenses I already have. It also has the dual scroll wheels I'm used to from the D80.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
Excerpt: My refurbished d7000 arrived defective - autofocus would not work through the viewfinder, but would work (for stills) when set to Live View mode. So back it went for a swap. We'll see. After a little online investigation, I've learned this is an all too common problem with this model.

I asked Adorama to just open the next one being sent to assure the 'viewfinder' autofocus works correctly. Thay said they 'might' be able to do that.
