Summary: This is a very good camera to include with another similar size Nikon DSLR (I have a Nikon D90 DSLR) for a travel backpack. I have another Nikon DSLR, a D700, the pro camera, but I wanted to go easier on my back with two lighter camera bodies and a few lenses including the 18-200mm DX VR lens for my recent trip to Northern California. We were in very remote coastal places where you are challenged by rocky cliffs or climbing on the rocks!
Summary: Great Camera. Got this before a trip to Africa to go on Safari. The Nikon D7000 is pretty easy to use if you're new to a DSLR. There are a bunch of automatic features/settings to make it easy. The controls for manual adjustments are pretty easy to learn with the help of the user manual. I was very happy with using the 18-200mm lense as an all purpose lense as you don't have time to switch out lenses on Safari.
Summary: Had very little experience with any manual modes on a DSLR (fear of moving away from Auto mode.. :) ) Went through a lot of reviews before deciding to get one instead of the D5200. Its been a month since I have got it and the biggest reasons/features that made me go with this choice were : - Always better to have more than less : There were some people who mentioned this camera to be a mid level camera.
Summary: I have just started using this camera, and if you want just a point and shoot I would suggest a smaller camera. They still give excellent photo quality. If you want to go further then this or even the bit older is good for this. I keep my cameras for a while so I got the newer version.
Summary: Nikon has high quality pictures its depend on how high the grade of camera , I think Nikon d7000 is good enough for people who love phot ograpy, fun and fashion and Nikon d7000 has good features, size and good price for me
Summary: Good product and entry level kit the only point is the flash which is from my point too cheep I preferred spend some $ more and get something more professional or spend less in a kit without flash. Overall I'm happy about it.
Summary: I did a lot of research on the different high-end amateur digital cameras and decided on the Nikon D7000. Then at the last minute I saw that the Nikon D7100 is now available, and I bought the D7100 instead. Read the comparison reviews and videos you can find on-line, and consider the D7100 also before making a final decision. The D7100 has some additional features and changes which you may like.
Summary: I wanted to buy a one time DSLR camera for at least couple of years. This is my first DSLR,but i used canon T3i and Nikon D5100 from brother and friends.Initially i wanted to buy first Nikon D5100 and after seeing lots of positive reviews of Nikon D7000 I bought this package..I was very enthusiastic after receiving it and wanted to use in my all trips.
