Are you sure it's refurbished?

J-booze, Adorama

 • Excerpt: What a deal! I had been looking at a D7000 for a while and stumbled upon this site. I was hesitant to buy a refurbished product, but when I received it, I couldn't even tell! Shutter count was less than 50 and it looked brand new. Feel free to read online reviews about the D7000 performance-wise; it's fantastic. I was torn between this and the D90 and I'm glad I stepped up.
 • Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance

Man this camera is amazing!

 • Excerpt: The D7000 is all the reviews say and more. I got mine refurbished and it works flawlessly. Out door, indoor, studio, anywhere this camera rivals rigs that cost 8x more! This will be in my bag for a long time to come. Its a learning curb but the more i learn about setting this thing up the more excited i get. Every pic is better than the last.
 • Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
 • Cons: No Weaknesses

Preliminary opinion

Happy in retirement, Adorama

 • Excerpt: I have only had this a week and am still learning to use it. I think there is a lot more to this camera than my D5000. I am having some trouble with the auto -focus but believe it is simply more prone to user error. I know I will be a better photographer with the D7000 because it will force me to pay attention. I am very glad I made this purchase. The camera is refurbished but looks new with a new manual. The strap was unusable as a part was missing.
 • Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality

Outstanding camera for serious amatuer

Adorama

 • Excerpt: Camera just feels good in your hands, light weight, all the controls handy. So far I have only used it for family portraits in my home studio and for local scenes.

I am a bit overwhelmed by the range of controls and have purchased a 480 page book on mastering the D7000.

So far, very happy with the purchase.
 • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Feature rich, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
 • Cons: High learning curve

 • Summary: this camera is on point. there have been issues in the past with the autofocus however, if consumers spend some time reading the manual and possibly a few photograhy books, they'll learn how to use this thing like a pro

Refurbished Nikon D7000 - good as new!

Random Nublet, Cameta
24 January 2013
 • Excerpt: This was my first DSLR camera (actually, my first camera - period! But I have used many point and shoots, and a Nikon DSLR previously), and I'm very happy with it. I'd definitely recommend reading the manual (repeatedly) and discovering just what this machine is capable of. This camera is great for inexperienced users - the Program and Auto modes produce satisfying pictures most of the time. But it is also capable of 'growing with you', as it is a fairly advanced DSLR.
 • Pros: Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Grows With You, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD
 • Cons: Short Battery Life

Love it.

T, Amazon
23 January 2013
 • Summary: Still working on reading all the instructions and getting used to the different kind of settings. Had an D3000 Kit with a 18-55 and 55-200 lens for about 3 years now. So far: Love the improvement for pictures taken in low light environment. Solid case and seems very well manufactured. Appears high quality (as expected). Good grip holding the SLR.

Great camera!

Jamie D., Adorama
23 January 2013
 • Excerpt: I recently upgraded from a D5000 (my first DSLR camera), because I wanted something that offered some of the features of a pro camera body. Plus there were some characteristics of the D5000 that I didn't like. I believe the D7000 is the perfect balance between amature and pro! The camera has a great feel to it; a little larger than the D3000/3100 and D5000/5100 but not too big to carry around all day. It focuses fast and the photos are crisp and true to color.
 • Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
