Summary: This product came on time and in good condition. This was a gift to me from my significant other. Everything was packaged very well in individual boxes within one large box it was all shipped in. If you are getting this kit it is for the CAMERA and MAIN LENSES (lenses 50 mm, 18-104 mm, 55-200 mm) ONLY, all the other items that come with this kit are poor quality. But for the price of the camera & lenses the kit can not be beat.
Summary: The Nikon D7000 is Nikons best DSLR at any price. The low light photos this camera can take is awesome. Many believe the D7000 is superior to the new model D7100. This camera is agile, tough, and one of the best cameras Nikon has ever produced. Nikon got this one right. Chad M.
Summary: Purchased at BB during BFD last year. Killer deal. It replaced a D90 which replaced a D80. D80 was a very good camera but got noisy quickly when the scene got dim. The D90 cleaned a lot of it up. After the birth of my first kid, I found the D90 struggled with indoor pics at night and dawn. So, happily, this gave me reason to upgrade again. I chose between D7000 and D7100.
Summary: Very nice camera! I was originally going for the D5200, it being 1,5x the megapixels and with 60fps video. The reason I got this instead is because the D7000 works with older AI-S lenses and has an autofocus motor which I needed since all of my lenses were AI-S or AF. Basically the only lenses that will work with the D3xxx, or D5xxx are the new plasticky no Aperture ring lenses (not a fan). Because of this, I got the D7000 over the D5200.
Excerpt: I had been wanting to upgrade from my old D80 and now that I have been using the camera for a couple of weeks I am very happy i did. The pictures and screen are far sharper than my old camera and the interface permits quicker, better control while shooting. So far this is a great camera!
Pros: Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD
