Excerpt: I'm updating my stable and decided that I needed a body more suited to my new 70-200mm 2.8. The 7000 fills the role my F4 did/does with my original 80-200mm, 2.8: with the MB-D11 the 7000 and the long zoom are the perfect combo, providing a good range of features and a well-balanced package. The 7000...

Excerpt: I have need to maintain both DX and FX camera bodies for work and I needed to replace my aging D90. The expense of upgrading both formats made this deal of a factory refurbished D7000 a bargain. The camera arrived as one would have expected a new one to, boxed with all contents.

I trust Nikon and if it's inspected and reconditioned from the factory, I rest my faith in it and hence can live with just a 90 day warranty which is traded off for...
Best Nikon Semi-Pro/Pro DSLR to date for the price.

Summary: I've been shooting Nikon DSLR's since the D80 came out. Also had a D90 and D5100. This is absolutely the best Nikon semi-pro (in most cases truly a pro model) that they have made. I haven't seen anything about this camera to make me doubt my purchase.
Excerpt: Selected this for an apparent great deal on what should be a very capable and user-friendly DSLR. What a colossal disappointment! After three days, I began getting the "ERR" flashing message. I followed every instruction I could find online to correct it--starting with Nikon USA support site.
Excerpt: I ordered the D7000 and was pleased--for about a week. Then I got error messages. I returned it, and ordered another, thinking it must have been a fluke. The second one totally stopped working the fifth day.
