The Nikon D7000 is a digital SLR with 16.2 million megapixel image output via its 23.6 x 15.6mm image DX-format CMOS sensor and features capabilities to record MOV files. It also features Picture Control, supports SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards slot, is compliant with DCF (Design Rule for Camera File System) 2.0, DPOF (Digital Print Order Format), and EXIF 2.3 (Exchangeable Image File Format). The Nikon D7000 also sports an eye-level pentaprism single-lens reflex viewfinder with 100% frame coverage, Depth-of-field Control, 1/8000 to 30 seconds shutter speed, Continuous Shooting Options of up to 6 frames per second, Advanced Scene Modes, up to 6400 ISO sensitivity (25,600 equivalent expanded ISO sensitivity option), Autofocus function, built-in flash, White Balance adjustments, Live View Shooting, movie recording up to 1,920 × 1,080 (24p) resolution at 24 fps, built-in monaural microphone, optional external stereo mini-pin jack (3.5mm diameter), a 3 inch diagonal Super Density monitor with 170-degree wide-viewing angle and 7 level brightness, Playback Functions, In-Camera Image Editing, and the following interface: Hi-speed USB, NTSC, HDMI, Stereo Microphone Input and Audio/Video out. The Nikon D7000 also supports WiFi Functionality, is Eye-Fi Compatible and supports FTP file transfer available and PTP/IP with optional WT-4A (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g). It also features GPS, Save/Load Camera settings, My Menu with customization and Recent Settings function. The Nikon D7000 measures 5.2 x 4.1 x 3.0 inch and weighs 24.3 oz.

The Nikon D7000 is a digital single lens reflex camera that features a 16.2 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor that provides users with large prints. It features high speeds 6 frames per seconds continuous shooting of up to 100 shots and EXPEED 2 image processing with 14-bit A/D conversion for optimized tones, colors and performance. It also features a bright glass pentaprism optical viewfinder with approximately 100% frame coverage and approximately 0.94x magnification; twin sd card slots with SD, SDHC, SDXC memory card compatibility that gives users the options to keep on shooting or separate NEF (RAW), JPEG and movie files; built-in Speedlight flash with i-TTL and Wireless Commander support and can be powered by optional MB-D11 multi-power pack to extend shooting time. It also features two User Definable Settings (U1, U2) on the Mode Selector Dial that lets users store most camera settings so they can go back to them at anytime without the need for further adjustments or menu settings; Picture Control which lets them choose from Standard, Neutral, Vivid, Monochrome, Portrait, or Landscape; Virtual Horizon Graphic Indicator which shows whether the camera is level and Live View mode. The Nikon D7000 also supports Full 1080p HD Movies recording with autofocus and external stereo microphone jack to record cinematic-quality movies up to 20 minutes.
