Excerpt: I use this as an all-around enthusiast's camera. With the D610, there is finally a full-frame camera body from a major maker that is close enough to affordable to make it worth investing in. I don't need 40+ MP. I rarely need more than 6 or 10, so 25 is *plenty*.
Excerpt: After loosing my d7000 unfortunately, waited a bit I knew I was getting a full frame I just didn't which one..D610 is a great camera buttons are familiar and the full frame is awesome! I also have an a6000 as a light gear/my just in case camera but the D610 for me is better in so many ways.

Excerpt: Finally I entered the wonderful world of the FX. Well, after so much hesitation in March of 2016 I took the plunge and I bought the Nikon D610 after another price drop of $200 at B&H with some extra goodies thrown in. My Nikon D200 served me well for 8 years, R.I.P.
Excerpt: I've only used this for two photo outings but have been very pleased with its overall performance. It is a little heavier than my old camera, but I normally use a tripod, so that will not be a big issue. The focus is fast and I've been pleased with the focus and clarity of my photos.
