Nikon D600 best value in FX (full frame) camera on the market as of 01/2014
15 January 2014
Summary: The Nikon D600 is currently the premiere FX sensor camera on the market at value for dollar. Don't let the sensor oil issue deter you from this camera. You should know how to and regularly clean your sensor anyway. Read Ken Rockwell's D600 review and learn about this being the same sensor as the D800 and D4 only trimmed back through the computer software. Size and features are great.
Summary: Very nice camera! I won this out on a bidding and was really happy on it's performance. At the moment, dust or oil issue has not shown itself yet, but I know after some time it will come as this was the problem with this camera. I have been trying variety of shots and so far, it does not disappoint.
Excerpt: I've never had an "oil" problem with this D600 or my other. I also own a D800 and sold my D3 recently. I grab for the D600 more than any camera. It's light but high quality build, 24 MP is better than 36 for most things and still gives quite a bit of cropability. I tested the D600 against my D3 before I sold it and the AF on the D600 was way faster and, more accurate and hunted less. Image quality is phenomenal.
Pros: Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Light, Quiet, User Ir Remote, Uses Ir Remote
Awesome Camera, You can never go wrong with Nikon full frame!

Summary: Great Camera and a great price. I had been looking at getting this camera for video and with all of the upgraded features from the Nikon D7000 which I owned previously I could hold off any longer. Plus it takes great photos and it is a little faster then my Nikon D800. Love the camera so far.
Excerpt: arrived one day early, no dust or spots, low shutter count, pristine in looks and shape, love the smaller body for an FX camera. Histogram verifies better exposures than my old D7000. Refurbished exceeded my dreams. looks new to me.
Pros: D600 Refurbished, Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD, Quiet
Excerpt: I kept going back and forth about getting this camera or it's bigger brother the d800, and I have to say that this camera does everything you need it to and then some. I am sure I would like the extra resolution the 36mp would afford me, but not the huge raw files or extra memory cards I would need to carry, let alone the extra grand in the cost of the camera itself. I do a lot of landscapes, flowers, and wildlife photography and the occasional wedding or birthday party.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, High ISO Performance, Large Clear LCD
