Excerpt: So let's put the oil spatter issue to bed then: yes, my camera had the problem, yes, I sent it in to Nikon for a replacement shutter, and yes, this fixed the problem. Not Nikon's finest hour, certainly, but no reason to avoid the D600 today.
Excerpt: Everything is great but its autofocus could be faster. It's fast enough but not always fast enough to capture close moving subjects. Besides that, I love it. I mostly use a Sony A6000 for its size, but if I need better image quality in low light, I go with this.
Excerpt: The most important feature of this cam: popup flash, dual cards, very good DR, and indirectly, the 28-300mm lens with weight 800g. It did have a dust issue, which has been solved/repaired by Nikon Service without charge, even after its guarantee.
Excerpt: This camera is and was everything it was supposed to be, except that the shutter spits oil in the sensor, and this problem existed out of the factory. It doesn't really affect me much since I so rarely shoot at the sky with f/16 or smaller. No matter.

Summary: This is my affordable (compared to D800) upgrade to full-frame from D5100. It's a fantastic camera that's given me no problems. However, I do miss the adjustable view screen on the D5100 for those high/low product shots or tight places.

Summary: The quality of the enlargements are amazing. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because right from day 1 there were what looked like oil spots on the sensor. These can be taken out quite easily during editing but they should not be there on a new product.
Summary: good morning. I could resolve a doubt. I bought a Nikon D600 and the machine has a malfunction which produces is watering oil. I never uncover the machine. I wonder if that machine the change. Thank you.
Excerpt: Likes: Great image quality, dynamic range, shadow recovery, iso performance Great handling, AF is quite good, reasonably fast / accurate Dislikes: ... if I had to complain about something it wouldn't be this camera. It works well. I sent it in for the free shutter upgrade.
Summary: This camera is not designed for the amateur. It replaces my D200 which I really liked except for it's 10MP DX sensor. The FX (so-called "full frame") sensor allows me to use lenses designed to work on later model Nikon 35mm cameras without any focal length conversions.
Summary: This is a great camera for those that love to take photos and want to have a professional level camera without the full price tag. This camera has the specs to keep anyone looking for a camera with high level performance, It has a very nice balance of user friendliness which makes it easy enough to...
