Nikon 12 MP Digital Camera

oasis, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: Nikon hasn’t been the leading company when it comes to digital cameras BUT they have come along way. They offer tons of different electronics but the main one that catches most consumers eye is the digital camera . I have had a handful of cameras in my time but I will admit that the newest Nikon Digital Camera has captured not only my heart but my attention. I won’t say that it’s one of the best cameras I’ve had, all because I’m a part time photographer.

Nikon D60

Ludvik Rahman, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: I bought it 13 months ago, i must say this camera offers nice features, have very good pictures, and i have been surprised by its quality. It’s lightweight and compact for an SLR. It offers lots of configurations in terms of focus modes, white balance, manual setting modes sore that there are different parameters for taking pictures that can give a creative touch to it. Perhaps the worst aspect is it’s slow speed of writing in the Storing media (SD / MMC).

  • Excerpt: Bought this as my second camera but as a first semi-professional SLR back in 2007/08 when I was 18. Still am using until now in university as a photography major and I still am finding how amazing this little guy is despite the lack of settings the D60 would have compared to a D90 and its newer siblings.

awesome camera, but sometimes it refuses to take pictures!

  • Summary: I love this camera, and the 55-200mm lens is amazing and produces a narrow focus range just like I was looking for. It has a quick recovery time after each picture, BUT if the battery is low it will not let you take a picture at all. And sometimes (when the battery isn't low) it will not take a picture. I think it might be because the flash is too hot but idk! Kinda drives me nuts, and worries customers!

Great first DSLR camera

  • Excerpt: I've always wanted a great camera since I found that most photography places charge an arm and leg to have pictures taken.  I got this and loved it!  It's easy to use and you can do so much!  Great first DSLR camera if you want one! Cons:  The book is very big to read, so I have just been teaching myself.   Price was pricey when I got it but has gone down a good bit! There also is No video, but I don't need it.

  • Excerpt: I bought my Nikon D60 digital SLR close to a year ago. I haven't had any problems with it and it takes wonderful photos. This camera has the capacity to take professional photos, but you need to invest in more lenses and other equipment.

  • Excerpt: Love this camera. I have always wanted to open my mind and eye to all of the beauty around me, especailly my "models". Its easy to use and fun to play around with the options to kind of figure out how each one functions.

The Nikon D60 is a great dslr camera.

  • Excerpt: This is a great camera for those who want to get into the world of photography. It's not a pro-level camera, but it's a transition into that direction. It's certainly a capable camera, allowing the user to have full control over iso, shutter speed, aperture, etc. One thing I really like about this camera is that it's easy to use. I've used many dslr cameras since making the transition away from point and shoots, and this is probably one of the easier ones to use.

  • Excerpt: I love my Nixon D-60.  I have always loved taking pictures, actually I am a bit obsessed and have always dreamed of having a digital SLR.  After much research, I decided on the D-60 and I have loved it since I have had it, about 6 months now.  I have taken over 2500 pictures since then.  It's easy enough to immediately begin to take pictures, but advanced enough for a professional to use.
