Nikon D60 Digital Camera

Luv2rite, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: After comparing many different brands and models of digital cameras online, I decided to go with the Nikon D60. After working with point-and-shoot cameras for many years, I was ready to upgrade to the DSLR range. This camera can be quite expensive when paired with a good lens, so I bought them refurbished. Upon receipt of the camera and lens, I was pleased to find that the manufacturer packages them securely like they are new.

Nikon D60 digital SLR Camera

lipsticknladdles, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: I have been using a a Nikon point and shoot camera for quite some time now. A couple of months ago, I came across a free online class on digital photography offered by Hewlett Packard. I took one class, after all, it’s free. Before I knew it, I was taking another class and then another. I became hooked to digital photography. I bought books and downloaded PDF e- books on the said subject.

  • Excerpt: Bought this as my second camera but as a first semi-professional SLR back in 2007/08 when I was 18. Still am using until now in university as a photography major and I still am finding how amazing this little guy is despite the lack of settings the D60 would have compared to a D90 and its newer siblings.

awesome camera, but sometimes it refuses to take pictures!

cloudtenfurniture, Ebay
3 January 2013
  • Summary: I love this camera, and the 55-200mm lens is amazing and produces a narrow focus range just like I was looking for. It has a quick recovery time after each picture, BUT if the battery is low it will not let you take a picture at all. And sometimes (when the battery isn't low) it will not take a picture. I think it might be because the flash is too hot but idk! Kinda drives me nuts, and worries customers!

Great first DSLR camera

  • Excerpt: I've always wanted a great camera since I found that most photography places charge an arm and leg to have pictures taken.  I got this and loved it!  It's easy to use and you can do so much!  Great first DSLR camera if you want one! Cons:  The book is very big to read, so I have just been teaching myself.   Price was pricey when I got it but has gone down a good bit! There also is No video, but I don't need it.

  • Excerpt: Purchasing my Nikon D60 is one of the best decisions I ever made and I got a really great deal at Costco on the D60, two lens, and a carrying case.   The huge improvement in the quality of my photos has helped me to start an online photo business.   The ease of using the auto or manual settings provides so many opportunities.   I carry my Nikon D60 everywhere I go and love the portraits, landscapes and closeup shots I have captured. Nikon is synonymous with quality.

  • Excerpt: My recent purchase of the Nikon D60 is the best investment I could of made for my little family. With our recent car accident the love of photography with this camera get my daughter wanting to get out there. Thus healing faster. We have no prior training and really haven't read the manual. Yet are able to take very professional quality images with ease. Thank You People at Nikon... Love it...

Wonderful DSLR

  • Excerpt: I've had this camera for about 3-4 years now and I absoluitly love it. The quality of the pictures is great, you can save them in jpeg or RAW. You can change the lens so if you do a little of everything or like one area the most you can get Macro or zoom lens'. There are already options on your camera that are saved that make the camera easy to use if you don't want to do all the techincal stuff like it has one if you are taking pictures or children (who move a lot) you...
