Excerpt: My husband bought this for me for Christmas after I did all the research. I was concerned about purchasing a refurbished product. It is awesome. I made the right choice. Love it. It is great in low light. It has zero shutter lag. My friend got the 5300 and she has two slots for the card and she has wireless. She also got a CD on how to use the camera. I'm fine with my 5200. Do not see the need for wireless or additional slot. Love it.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance, Intuitive And User Friend, Large Clear LCD, Quiet, Tilt /Swivel LCD
Excerpt: Used zoom lens quite a bit, as we were on a music cruise and wanted to get closeups of the performers. If the lighting was off and it was, especially at night, we could edit the pics later. The camera has remarkable autofocus, good because I'm still unfamiiar with all the controls.
Excerpt: Getting the grandkids in action, shoting hoops jumping in mid-air is amazing. The grandkids love to see themselves like the pros. So do I
Love the fact that when you shoot, the camera doesn't hesitate like the first digitals (non-DSLRs). Picture quality reminds me of my Pentax Spotmatic 2A.
I'm not a pro by any means, but this camera helps me take pictures like one.
Pros: Amazing Pics In All Modes
Cons: Battery, Expensive 2nd Or Replacem, None I can think of
Summary: Overall fast shipping and Super Value for all items. Had purchased the same camera at Best Buy, returned it the next day. Total package was a HUGE value for the same price. Always check Walmart on line before a purchase, I learned my lesson.
