Summary: I haven't had time to use it much, but I like it so far. The Live View is handy for the way I use it, but it drains the battery very quickly. Other than that - it's a Nikon, what's not to like! It has a lot more features than I will ever use. Camera manufacturers seem to think that their customers want more and more unusual features. I just want a camera that is easy to use, solidly built, and makes extremely sharp images.
I really loved the color red of the camera and the lenses

Summary: I really loved the color red of the camera and the lenses. I'm very new to DSLRs so I'm not sure how to compare this with others but after lots of research between this camera and the Canon Rebel T5i I decided to go with this one. I'm not sure yet how to operate the video so that it focuses better and doesnt get blurry but that would be my only complaint. The Rebel had a touch screen which I've heard is easier to use when focusing on video recording...
Summary: I bought this bundle after a long research and it is as displayed. the only reason I didn't gave it a five star is that it doesn't contain the 18-55 lens hood, but I think the oringinal nikkor lens has the hood.
Summary: Needed a full-featured camera that wouldn't break the bank, and the the ebay'r I purchased from had configured an expanded kit with this camera/lens as its base. I'm very happy to find features I wasn't even expecting, and Nikon's design of a complex, good-"feeling" camera is very user friendly. I'm looking forward to becoming intuitive about using it anow thousands of photos/videos.
Summary: Great camera. I also love the macro lens and the extra battery. The 18-55mm zoom is ok, it's your basic kit lens and decent for general use. The tripod (which I don't use) is low quality, as I suspected, but will get you by until you can get something better. I only really use the camera, lenses and backup battery. Wish I had done the math on how much these items would've cost separately, but I figure it probably comes out to roughly the same price.
Summary: Definitely a great beginner/intermediate camera. I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to cameras but the guide it came with was very helpful even for a noob. The stock lens is decent but nothing special - if you're going to be doing more than casual photography you'll probably want to get a better one. I take lots of product photography for my online businesses so it works fine for that, and has plenty of other features that I don't even know how to use.
