Leaps and bounds better than my old D100

mad G.I., Amazon
29 May 2013
  • Summary: Even though I dropped in the level of camera (professional vs intermediate/entry level) class of DSLR, the difference in quality and ability is astounding. Maybe a lot of that has to do with the newer, and probably better quality lenses that I now have, but in features alone, this camera does everything the D100 did, better, and does so much more. I have enjoyed some of the built in program modes (i.e. portrait, sports, scenery, ect.

Love the camera

JR, Amazon
28 May 2013
  • Summary: Very pleased with the product. Recieved it sooner than expected. I would have given it a 5 star except for the tripod made by precision was junk. It broke the first time I tried to use it. I have not used all of the other accesories but I llike everything about the camera, bag, filters and 55mm-300mm lens.

  • Pros: Battery Rotating Screen Continuous Shutter and Buffer
  • Cons: Grainy above 1000 ISO 18-55 kit lens is only okay

  • Summary: This camera takes amazing pics. The lens is unreal how close it brings the images and so clear. I would highly recommend it. My husband always stuck with Olympus and this is his first Nikon and he really likes it better.

We also own the D5200 and they are both excellent carmeras

goslin23 "goslin23", Amazon
24 May 2013
  • Summary: This was our 1st DLSR camera that we purchased and when we started learning how to use it my wife decided she wanted one for herself! We decided to go with the newer D5200 for our other camera and really have enjoyed both equally. We're still learning how to use the camera and they have been easy to operate and we've taken some awesome pictures so far.

  • Summary: Nikon has always been my choice for cameras and I plan to get years of fun out of this camera. I do a lot of traveling to far off places and this camera will get a lot of use. I love all the features it has. I shopped around for the best price as you know, these days are all about bargains to get the most for your money and this package deal was by far the best I've seen.
