Summary: wanted to upgrade from my iPhone and point-and-shoots to give me more creative imaging. this bundle serves me well. the quality of the images is amazing. one is flexible to just go automatic for times when one's in a rush to fire off a photo, but if you're trying to get creative and into real thoughtful "photography" skills the D5100 provides an excellent set of tools.
Excerpt: I have been getting great pictures at auto mode and I am learning how to use the many option that the camera offers. <br />I was hesitant about buying a refurbished camera but mine had only 4 shutter counts (other reviewer stated that his the camera had 800 shutter counts) and it looks like new with no marks or scratches.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Good At Auto Mode, Good Image Quality, Tilt /Swivel LCD
Great camera worth the money, awesome picture quality.

Summary: I have really enjoyed my camera and lens, its been like a dream come true for me to have such a hobby with a quality camera. I take pics of wildlife, birds especially and am happy about the performance of the fast camera and longer range lens. The only issue is with the lens which has became slow to focus and at times dont focus also it sounds like it needs a little oil on it cause it squeeks when it focuses. I dont know what to do about it.
Summary: One of the best seller. Highly recommended! Although the Nikon D5100 was sent to me with manufacture warranty card missing, seller did explain well to me, and promised to take care of my brand new D5100 & lens at same standard available from Nikon
Summary: I bought this for my wife for Christmas last year She has spent a good bit of time reading the manual and says she really likes it I thought the price was reasonable for the items received She uses it to take pictures of birds and would like to have a little longer lens
Summary: Having fun learning how to use my new camera. Love all of the options this camera offers as well as all of the accessories that came with the purchase. I am a beginner to intermediate photographer (depending on what I am photographing) so what this camera offers suits me well.
Excerpt: A camera with one flaw (the viewfinder). It is underexposing by default so less highlights get blown. 200 mm, f/5.6, 1/400 s, ISO 100 The battery life is not as my main camera (D90) but it is OK. It's a good camera to have especially at the clearing prices.
