Summary: This is my first SLR camera, and I love it!!!! I am learning how to use all the different settings and it is awesome.... even the extra lens is awesome as well.... it's a steal at that price, and I'm glad I went on and got it... no regrets on my part.. I saw the camera at Wal-Mart and it's 449.00 without the 55-200mm lens so do the math....
Summary: The Camera is great and a very nice upgrade from my point and shoots of the past. My one complaint is that the Serial # on the camera did not match with Nikon's actual website when I went to register it. That is a little sketchy to me. Other than that, great camera and good experience.
Summary: I will have to be honest when I say that I am not a professional photographer or an experienced one. I have owned and used several p&s and prosumer cameras and the D3200 by far (I wasn't expecting any less) produced superior photos. The 55-200mm lens that comes in this bundle is absolutely necessary. Without it, you would be seriously limited to taking wide view shots. The bag overall is ok considering that just the camera and lens itself is a good deal.
Summary: I'm a beginning shooter. I purchased the Nikon D3200, Pentax K-50 & Canon T3i to try. All came with 2 lenses, bag, cables, batteries, etc.. Nikon outperformed the others in ultra quiet shutter & focus noise & speed & accuracy, best exposure of scenes containing both daylight & shadows, (in the automatic program options) colors were more true in indoor with & without flash and outdoor shots, and was way cheaper.
Pros: great pics quiet natural color a newbie's dream onboard camera guide comprehensive menu selections external cd reference manual is great
Cons: i've seen sturdier kit camera bags small camera. may not fit a large person well. personally don't care for the lcd layout-confusing
Summary: A new world has opened to my wife. She has never had a camera remotely close to the quality or versatility this one possesses. She actually sees the difference between pictures and art. And having seen some of the things she has done with a lot less I can only imagine where this will take us. Thanks guys......
