Excerpt: As a retired professional photographer, I now rate myself as a mere enthusiast, using digital point-and-shoot compacts. Then I thought can I use my old Nikon lenses on a modern DSLR? So I treated myself to a D3100, and found that I can use older lenses albeit manually.
Summary: Estoy muy feliz con la compra del paquete pero el maletin que recibi no es el mismo que esta en la oferta. gracias I am very happy with the purchase of the package but the briefcase that I received is not the same as this in the offer. thanks
Excerpt: I have this D3100 and D80. Keep 24-120VR on 3100 and 70-300 VR on D80. Love the 3 inch monitor with view capabilities. Easy to go from single to continuous shooting. Well placed controls. Think 5100 will be next. Anxious for Nikon to make battery grip for easier griping.
Conclusion: This camera is user friendly and is a great camera for someone who loves to take photographs. My husband who does part-time professional photography work has even taken my camera along for jobs and loved what he was able to get out of it. It's a steal for the money and I highly recommend it.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, High ISO Performance
Summary: I am very happy with the camera, I could have not got a better product for my introduction to Digital photography and I have only been improving and taking better photos everytime. The rest of the articles are not very useful, except for a couple of lens and filters.
