Pros: It's just a great starter level DSLR, it takes a stunning pictures and a beautiful 1080p video, buy it if you gonna use it for family profissional pictures, or you want to start in the photography world with a cheap and great quality DSLR.
Cons: the only problem I guess is it doesn't have a Microphone jack. However I used an alternative way to record my audio with a separate audio recorder.

Summary: I like this. But I really wanted a full frame. The reason it gets 4 stars is because you cannot use a wireless remote shutter with this model but you could with the d3000. I dont get that. I ordered one and had to return it.
Excerpt: This is my very first dslr. I wanted a camera to dabble in photography with, but didn't want to invest money in any complicated setup while learning. This is an economical camera and very easy to use. The on-board guide mode is very helpful for the beginner.
Pros: A Great First-time Dslr, Easy To Use, Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus, Fast Shutter Speed, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Quiet, Very user friendly
Summary: Overall I was happy with my camera kit, however, the addtl lens adaptors that come with it were not satisfactory. I actually ended up having to buy an actual zoom lens. After I received the kit I did check out some addtl reviews and all said they felt the lens adaptors were inadequate as well.
Summary: I got around to writing review after more than a year since buying this camera. It meets my needs perfectly because I was looking for light-weight camera that gives good results indoors and has low shutter-lag.
