Summary: I OWN ONE OF THESE CAMERAS. INFACT I HAVE TWO LENSES WITH MINE AND IT'S BEEN WONDERFUL. YOU CAN BUY ALL SORTS OF CAMERAS WITH LARGER MEGAPIXEL BUT THEY WON'T COMPARE AND WON'T OUT LAST THIS VERY HEAVY CAMERA. IT'S AWESOME FOR MY DAUGHTER'S CHEERLEADING AND ACTION SHOTS. SADLY, I NEED TO SELL MINE BECAUSE I AM HAVING BACK PROBLEMS AND IT'S TOO HEAVY FOR ME TO CARRY FOR HOURS ON END. BUT IT'S THE BEST CAMERA OUT THERE YOU CAN'T BEAT IT...
Fantastic: Great speed, excellent color, low noise and awesome focus

Summary: Most of my friends suggest that I buy a camera by Canon. It would be only 1/3 the price, maybe half the price. But they spend most of the time correcting the RAW files in Aperture or Lightroom and I have always perfect pictures. No corrections, no electronic image retouche. Just great pictures! And yes, it's worth the price. You save countless hours and tons of GB harddisc space. Don't accept a second best solution. If you can afford a Nikon D2HS SLR go for it!
Summary: This is the second factory refurbished camera I have purchased from Cameta Auctions (this time through Amazon.com). Both cameras have been in perfect condition 10/10 and have performed flawlessly. As a result, I have been able to upgrade my equipment to professional level camera bodies at a cost of $[...] on the dollar.
Summary: Added to D2X, D70 and Fuji S3 collection. Image quality is much better than the 4.1 MP suggests. Equal to or better than D70 (better at iso 400 and above than D70), Slightly less resolution than S3 and about same noise up to 800, Fuji pulls ahead at 1600 but you have to look at a 100% crop to see it. Much less noise than D2X. Speed in continuous shooting, saving files and focus is much faster than S3 - no contest. Focus is much faster than D70.
Don't get discouraged / Nikon D2H is a great camera ...
4 August 2010
Summary: Ok, it is clear to me that D2H is discontinued camera. But here are my 2 cents... I have owned 2 - Nikon D2H's since fall 2003 - and use them up to today. I paid $4,000.00 for each body. It is a work-horse camera. I took it with me twice around the world, from desert to under water. Never had any problem. Works great, feels great, performs well. Some reviews trash D2H. Don't get discouraged by them. It is all only a war of numbers. Yes, it has only 4.1 Megapixels. True.
Summary: Forget the D300... if you want a workhorse of a camera but can't afford £3,000 for the D3 - you want a D2Hs. It can rattle off 8fps, it is built like a tank [unlike the D300], and there really are benefits to 4.1MP RAW images. Printed to A4 size, they look just as good as 12MP camera images. If you never even print images, why buy a 12MP camera? The D2Hs is a professional camera and feels like one.
Excerpt: "...first time of using a Nikon product and I am still looking up to its competence and capability but from the ones that I have seen of it, very fantastic. This delivers the ultra high-speed quality and the precision for the demanded action quality. One major thing with this digital camera is that it has created a superior quality of great responsiveness, functionality and even on the other hand at higher sensitivity levels. I made a lot of savings ...
Pros: NICE PICTURE, FANTASTIC FEATURES WITH HIGH ULTRA SPEED .
Summary: Ho comprato usata questa splendida macchina fotografica circa 5 mesi fa.
