Summary: I just started using the Nikon COOLPIX S9700 - and, am very happy with the camera, features and photos so far. It's slightly bigger than some of the small compact cameras - but it's very light and still a good portable/compact size (and I love the color).
Takes great pictures, has wifi to send photos, battery life not great

Summary: This camera takes great pictures and has a long zoom. It takes great frozen action shots when in the sports/action mode. Summary: Love the size of the camera. So light! Perfect for travel. Though more advanced, it's a perfect point and shoot. Not great in low light but use the flashlight app on your cell phone and you'll be good. Love it.
Summary: Great camera. Incredibly versatile. Would not recommend it for anyone that is a digital camera neophyte and became very familiar with the camera's capabilities before using it. I had a Nikon 8000 before this and was really impressed with how incredible the photos turned out in auto mode.
Highly user-friendly with great low-light performance

Summary: If you look for the most feature-packed point and shoot, this one is not for you. It does not have touch screen or raw file. The video quality, according to some website reviews, is not as good as those in Sony and Panasonic. In my view they are all not important.
Summary: It's a great camera. 30x zoom is fantastic. The flash which pops up where I would normally be holding the camera, however I'm getting used to it and the flash part is a bit flimsy, so one needs to be careful.
