Summary: Wanted a functional camera with good definition and light to carry in my bag wherever I go and what better than to have the support of Nikon. Very satisfied. I have yet to discover all the functions.
Summary: this review its about the seller not the product itself because I haven't received yet, but I just wanted to say that I bought this item because I've always have been a fan of Nikon products, I think they have really good quality but also the company that sells and warranties the product matters as well. deals4less has a wonderful customer services.
Summary: I've had a smart phone for years but want a camera to take on vacation. I wanted a camera that uses AA batteries but when I chose the GPS option for this camera (I think) it came with a rechargeable lithium battery. Grrrrr. I can't figure out how to use it but I'm 65 years old so that may have something to do with it. I have to find a kid to show me. The photos are good quality for the limited times I've used it so far. I just wish I could send from it.
Summary: This is a great little camera. I bought it for it's compactness and quality of pictures. It fits conveniently in my pants pocket and it's just so easy to point and shoot a photo. Great zoom. I really don't use the GPS feature. Sometimes I hold the camera by it the carrying strap and the corner of the camera. Unfortunately I tend to hit the video record button from time to time. Perhaps the record button should be relocated.
Summary: Having had a couple of other brands, such as Panasonic and Sony, this is my favorite. Easy to use, menu is not complicated, really not much to dislike. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is that on occasion, some photos are soft, however this is a common 'problem' with many brands of point and shoot cameras once in awhile. Given that is not an SLR, I think this is an excellent product, and I would recommend it.
Summary: Camera works great and pix are great! The inconvenience I found is with the 'POP UP' flash. Many times I find my finger holding it down because it does not pop up until the the button is pressed to take the photo. I'm still trying to get accustomed to keeping my finger out of the way because that is where holding the camera feels most natural. If the pop up release allowed the flash to extend when powering up the camera, then there would not be a problem, for me anyway!
