Summary: I am not a photographer. I noticed the blurring issue, but it was easily solved by slightly pressing down on the button that takes the pictures to refocus the lens. I have taken some beautiful pictures with this camera. I needed a camera with a decent zoom that wasn't too expensive. The more I play around with it the better the pictures become.
Excerpt: It's small enough to keep in jeans pockets & very easy to use. I've taken some really nice scenic type shots on holiday with good light but..... It's quite slow, plus indoor shots & anything moving, it's not so good.
Summary: This is the coolest looking camera and I love that it is red. The pictures are high quality and the booklet that comes with it helped me understand all the features. I want to thank Nikon for including a booklet and not making me look stuff up on-line. This is a plus for me.
perfect camera if you never want to take pictures. looks great sitting in a draw....

Summary: peice of crap. less than a year and it only take blurry pictures, and it isnt from a dirty lense. wont focus anymore. GPS function never worked. I guess i should lisyt the good points : the paint never faded..... it has buttons, i like buttons. thats about it.
Summary: I got this when my old digital camera broke. It has high resolution, a great optical zoom, and once I got familiar with the focus settings, I have really enjoyed having it with me almost all the time. I get great pictures of landscapes and wildlife, have got some great low light shots and enjoy the small size compared to DSLR cameras with coarser density.
Summary: I Took this camera to Australia and New Zealand about a week after I purchased it. This camera is usable in a very intuitive manner. I took over 1200 photos during a twelve day period down under. Of those 1200 photos (of course many near duplicates) taken under a variety of different conditions, I have almost 400 photos that consider to be worth the price of the trip and the camera combined. The videos were simply a handy bonus...all 40 of them.
Summary: When in need of a new digital camera, I looked for a durable, high quality camera with a good zoom. As a student with a very limited budget, the refurbished Nikon Coolpix s9300 was absolutely perfect! The camera is easy to use and takes beautiful pictures- certainly the best digital camera that I've had. The only problem I had was that when it arrived, there was some dust underneath the display screen.
