Summary: I only used this camera twice! Then, when I tried to use it a third time, it will not focus at all. According to the forums that are out on the web, Nikon has a lot of issues with this. Not only with my s9200 model. But with most common Coolpix models. But I was smart a purchased a two year replacement warranty. I am only 7 months into the warranty, so I will be looking to get something else.
Summary: I previously had a Nikon S9100. I dropped it (only about 2 feet onto a grassy surface) and parts started rattling around inside. Totally broken. Admittedly my fault for dropping it...but not very durable considering I only dropped it about 2 feet and on to a grassy surface as well. Not worth the expensive to send it in to fix. "Upgraded" to the Nikon S9200. Hate is a strong word...but I really dislike this camera. The 9200 takes poor clarity photos..
Summary: This camera worked in the beginning and then stoped focusing properly on photo and video function. Sign of low battery would appear right after charging it! After a while could not turn it on. The lens closure stayed half open/close. Very unreliable product. Not recommended. A special price offer is never good if the product does not work properly.
Summary: Took this Camera to Spain and got great shots. The CMOS processor made shooting in low light possible. The zoom is amazing. If this was a camera of just a few months ago with that kind of zoom it would never fit in your pocket.
Summary: Normally I don't write reviews. However I thought I should share about this product. I have a Nikon D7000 camera. I use it very extensively. My family planned an international travel for about 8 weeks. I thought we will buy a smaller aim and shoot camera for this travel. I ordered this camera. It was received on time. Amazon has an excellent delivery service. After opening the package I realized that this doesn't have a separate battery charger.
Summary: Nikon COOLPIX S9200 16 MP CMOS Digital Camera with 18x Zoom NIKKOR ED Glass Lens and Full HD 1080p Video (Black) I purchased the Nikon COOLPIX S9200 two months ago and was pretty happy with my purchase the first month. It took pretty decent pictures, for the most part. Outside pictures turned out pretty darn good and I really enjoyed experimenting with the various effects (selective color etc.).
