Excerpt: The Nikon Coolpix S8200 is actually a very nice camera. I actually did not see a lot of this type around. I haven’t seen a lot of 16 megapixel cameras with a 14 times zoom so I would say that this camera is pretty unique in its own ways. The specs are actually quite simple with modes for portraits, landscape scenery, and so on. This camera has a 3 inch screen, but the really surprising part is the HDMI output.
Summary: I've always liked the Nikon for his sharp pictures, this camera has everything you will ever need. It's compact and easy to use. It's big screen allows you to capture your pictures and every detail that you want to compose within your pictures.
Summary: Purchased 2 cameras for youth to use in a photography class. Took good pictures for a point and shoot, battery life is adequate. Flash is a little harsh but similar to point and shoots. Takes great picks when flash not needed.
"Worked well in its 22 months of life-but not perfect."

Pros: Easy to use and light and when working right, clear pictures. Fast on and easy picture transfer
Cons: Several problems. A lens problem which resulted on a large spot like a thumbprint. Auto focus became inconsistent. USB connector unique size hard to find. When I had to send in for warranty repairs, was slow. And first time I dropped it, it died
Summary: I bought this to upgrade from a digital camera I bought several years ago. I got it just in time for my visit with family on Thanksgiving. I am very pleased with the quality of the pictures it takes. I did read other reviews before purchasing. The location of the flash has not been an issue for me so far I just hold the camera in a way that my finger doesn't cover it.
Summary: the pictures are sharp and i like using this camera with all it's settings. i do however need to always remember where the flash pops up from. It's placement (top left hand corner) is where most would automatically hold a small camera and the shot is usually wasted if you forget.
