  • Summary: I love this camera! I read so many bad reviews before buying it but went with my instinct and got it anyway. I forgot all the things I read since I have no problems with the camera. I use the Automatic mode and most of the pictures come out great. Sometimes the color does come a little off from the real colors (since I sell on Ebay I want true color), but I just adjust the color either right on the camera or on my computer.

  • Summary: This is a great camera. I bought it on sale for 99.00 and I would compare it to a camera around that price. I have a Kodak that was 130 and it works just as well. The touch screen is nice but the sliding front that turns the camera on/off is a bit of a pain. As I try to side it shut to turn it off it usually takes a picture. That is a little annoying. I also don't like how it seems to not have a place to hold it. The entire backside is all screen (which is lovely).

  • Summary: I have small hands but it is still very hard NOT to put the edge of my finger in front of the lens.
  • Pros: Small, handy and makes adequate pics but adequate could just describe the user.
  • Cons: Just the lens problem at this time.

Great Compact Camera

  • Summary: I recently replaced my Olympus with this Nikon. I was in love with my Olympus but this is coming in a close second. The one bad thing about it is when you are previewing pics and delete one...the camera goes all the back to the last picture taken so you have to scroll through all the ones you already looked at to get back to the spot you left off.

A pro's pocket camera.

M Hinkel, Amazon

  • Summary: I am a pro photographer, and I was looking for a camera that was small enough to pocket in my jeans and easy to use. A no brainer type of camera. It had to be around $100. I tried several other top brand names and I was unimpressed. So I went for my favorite brand Nikon and was able to get this and I'm amazed. I always try to keep a camera with me so I never miss a shot. This camera works great for what I need.

  • Summary: I have had this camera for a month now. I wanted to wait to do the review because I wanted it to be as accurate as possible. It has taken me some time to get to know the features but that is because I never read the manual. I love the touch screen. It is user friendly, takes amazing photos and has lots of great features. I bought it on sale so I am doubly pleased. It is light, small and compact.
