Summary: This is a great camera -- however, I really can't stand having the capability of wi-fi and not being able to use it. i have contacted nikon and gotten no help. I paid what i paid for this BECAUSE it has wi-fi capabilities and I can't even get the wi-fi ti work.
Excerpt: Purchased to take photos of my farm for a blog - was looking for a middle of the road camera. This can take oustanding photos of landscape and close ups of vegetation. Nice ample LCD display. Easy to understand.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: I was looking for a compact (pocket) camera with WiFi (remote shutter) that takes quality photos and 1080p video. This is an ok camera. The camera is a good size and feels solid. The screen is a good size - I didn't want a viewfinder.

Summary: photos as good as any comparable point and shoot I've used but the wifi transfer more complicated than I'd imagined. Better to use or upgrade your cell phone camera than to add another layer to sending out.
Summary: I have been a Nikon fan for some time and I have owned several Coolpix models, but the operation of this model is extremely slow on boot up and consequently, you miss a lot of pictures. Nikon offers a firmware update which I did, but it doesn't really make enough of a difference.
