Videos are really decent, but this camera is fragile, especially the lens cover

Summary: I have a Nikon 1 interchangeable lens camera that I love, and I was hoping the S6800 would be a good camera for my every-day bag, but it has too many faults for me to keep it. Very small, slick camera. Hard to hold onto without dropping - so I always keep my hand in the wrist strap.
Summary: Wow, am I (a Nikon buff for decades) so disappointing in buying this model. Cons: Very s-l-o-w focus and shudder capture, even on high contrast subjects; weird and non-intuitive menu; no freezing the exposure only focus; amateurish Nikon Wireless app is not compatible with Android 5.x.
I'm so disappointed in this camera and returned it after trying it ...

Summary: This review is purely for the camera - not the seller. The camera is extremely slow and laggy - it lags when trying to take a photo even when the light is more than adequate (outdoors), and it lags when taking the photo so any action comes out blurry.
Summary: This camera takes OK pictures for the money. I am a home inspector and I take over 200 photos per inspection. This camera takes forever between shots and the auto focus almost worthless it takes so long. Often times I give up and take a picture out of focus because I don't have the time.
Summary: Disappointed in this model. I was looking for an L22 replacement because my L22 died and I tried this model. The outdoor photos have a dark ominous look to them that I don't like. It costs about twice as much so I expected it to be at least as good as the L22.
COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. I strongly recommend NOT to buy this camera

Summary: I bought this camera thinking it was going to last a long time. WRONG. After the second charge it began having problems. The green flash light remains on when the camera is off and consumes all the battery overnight. It is called Green Light of Death.
Summary: I purchased this camera for use in monitoring changes in skin lesions. The thing that attracted me to it was the high megapixel count and the macro settings. Unfortunately, the processor cannot keep up with the size of the photos and often requires about 5 seconds of processing between photos.
