Summary: Startup time is ok - much slower than my Canon. It takes anywhere from about 4-10 seconds before you can actually take a shot so you may miss those moments. If they fixed that this would be awesome.
Excerpt: Great size for carrying in my purse. Good photos, surprising telephoto.First refurbished camera worked for one day and stopped. Adorama replaced it and am hoping this one will be trustworthy. Returning was an inconvenience.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Small / Compact
Summary: This is a replacement for the first one I bought a while back. The camera has tons of features for this low price. Really like the wifi transfer of pictures to my mobile devices. This is one of the main reasons I purchased it plus its a Nikon. The wifi is really more like Bluetooth in how it works. Wifi may be a bit misleading although you must have a wifi connection for it to work.
Summary: I have always been a canon guy but I thought I would purchase this camera based on features and price point at the time. I have used the camera on multiple outings and if I had to do it again I would go with another camera. The functionality of the camera itself seems to be ok but the LCD screen leaves a bit to be desired. The first thing I did after getting the camera was to go and buy a LowePro camera bag that specifically fits this camera.
Summary: Meh. Just meh. When the pics come out, they're really something. I spend most of the time trying to get the camera to focus on what I want. Doesn't always work out in my favor. Love the wifi feature, but battery must be at least half charged to get it to connect to my iPhone for the data transfer. Nice size, very light weight.
