Summary: Camera was pretty good. Photos with motion come out blurry with various settings. After a little over a year (just after the warranty) the camera stopped functioning spontaneously. Sent to Nikon for repairs and they never called or emailed to let me know what was going on. I finally checked with them and they wanted $109 to repair a $160 camera which I didn't love to begin with, so I now have a Nikon paperweight.
Summary: Worst camera ever!!!! Used it once and sat for a long time. Tried to use it again and it will not charge or even turn on. Called their support and the camera had known issues. Set in for repair and they want $97 to repair a known issue. Don't waste your money!

Summary: This camera has failed for the third time since I purchased it less than a year ago. The previous two times I paid to send it back to the manufacturer's repair shop and got it back 'fixed' within two to three weeks. Each time the problem was different. After the second failure I asked if I could get a credit toward a different Nikon and was told that isn't possible. I think that was a reasonable request but got no satisfaction.
Summary: I'm sorry to give this camera such a terrible review, but I've had it four months and it is falling apart. The lens opens and gives a lens error, and two pieces have fallen off the front of the lens. It's easy to use and takes great photos, but a camera should last more than four months.
This takes great pictures for such a little camera!

Summary: This takes great pictures for such a little camera! I have a Nikon D300 that I use for my photography but there are times when I just don't want to lug around the "big" camera--and this takes its place at those times. Surprisingly, it takes great pics!
