Summary: It's so nice to buy a camera and not feel the need to immediately return it. I bought the red one, since it was $50 cheaper just for the color (really? Who cares what color it is! Shut up, and let me keep my money!). It has incredible zoom, and the pictures are much clearer than those I have taken with any of my other cameras.
Summary: Got this for my wife to replace the S230 my kids broke. Works awesome. Some pocket cameras take a long time to process and save a shot before the next shot is ready. This one's quick. Other cameras have a bad delay from the time you push the button until it takes the picture. This one is almost instantaneous. It's not as fast as a DSLR, but you don't lose your shots either.
Summary: Nikon Coolpix s6300.. Actually I have purchased three in the last year. I did drop the first one but not the others. "Service" claimed that was the problem. I have a spare charger and batteries to guard against the short life. Nikon has been the highest quality camera for me - back to F1 - so these poor excuses of camera are a great disappointment. The telephoto has stopped working, and I usually just live with it when the results are poor.
Summary: I bought this product over Thanksgiving, part of a Black Friday deal. I wanted to get a camera to take pictures when our son arrived in December. It's now August, and I'm still loving this camera! For the price, I think it takes awesome pictures. The battery lasts forever. Over the last few months, I've noticed the camera is a little annoying with taking forever to focus and take a pictures.
