Summary: The auto focus drove me crazy. it is completely and utterly unable to auto focus on objects that move even slightly, even pictures of a group of children standing stationary! For instance, when focusing on a group of people, the camera can not decide which person to focus on and so it just keeps trying. When it does eventually focus, the slightest sideways movement of one person simply restarts the process!
Summary: I previously owned Nikon S220 camera which I loved, the battery lasted almost 2 weeks whilst on vacation without having to charge, when that camera finally died I decided to stick with Nikon. I noticed the S6200 on sale and now realize why IT IS AWFUL the battery does not hold a charge, I sent camera in 3 times under warranty and they kept sending back saying everything is fine, battery depleted.
Summary: Wanted the perfect compact camera to have when on the run with my children. The lightening on the pictures was not always the best and my flash stopped working for no reason. Be aware that once the flash goes, the camera is done.
Hate everything about it but video, which eats batt.

Summary: Fuzzy pictures, grainy, must edit to get any kind of quality shot. Have a few remarkable photos, but only with 200 ISO and outside in relatively clear weather. Worst camera for outdoor adventurers. The size is portable and it takes good video, except that kills the battery in nothing flat so you get few shots if you take any video. I have so many lost shots of wildflowers and summits in overcast weather. I have the few greats I mentioned because the weather was perfect.
Summary: I am really disappointed in the quality of this camera. The seller did a great job and all that jazz; however I am disappointed with this Nikon. For a point and shoot with the price tag and the supposed great shots, it is a POS and very difficult to use. I cannot stand this camera and am going to spend the real money to get my fiance a real camera than this. The Nikons that are priced cheaper and more compact than this camera have better picture quality.
Summary: I purchased this camera in may of 2012. I used this camera for 5 months and then lost image on one half of the LCD screen,so I sent it in to Nikon for repair under warranty.Nikon contacted me and told me I would have to pay over one hundred dollars to get it fixed even though it was under warranty.I checked with the BBB and found out Nikon has a F-Rating with the BBB at their repair center and that they had 199 complaints at that time.I wished I had have checked BBB...
Summary: I received this camera as a Christmas gift and within 6 months (still brand new, hardly used at this point), the camera would not focus at all and all images were blurred. Nikon service agreed it was defective and "replaced the lens and adjusted the flash". It was returned to me completely unfixed...all images still blurred.
Summary: I thought I was "winning" when I bought my first Nikon with a 10x zoom for under 200.00 but I was wrong. The camera is really tiny and the time to take another picture takes really long. At first I thought the camera froze so I took the battery out but it did again...it paused for a long time. I wouldn't recommend this camera to anyone. I bought this for an upcoming Disney trip and with the mega slow shutter I am going to have to Craigslist this buddy.
Summary: This camera is terrible. I tried to return it but don't have the box so they won't take it back. I had no idea I would be returning it. I have a Nikon D90 and it's wonderful, however, I always use a compact camera for ease in traveling local and away. The pictures are distorted like they were taken in a fun house.
