Summary: The screen is very fragile on this camera. I had it for a couple days and kept it in my pocket of my flight suit with the screen to my chest to better protect it. The camera was new to me so I took special care to keep it safe. I never bumped in to anything or recall any instance to which damage could have taken place but one day I went to take it out and, to my complete surprise, the corner of the screen was spiderwebed.
Too small for me, and I don't trust it's scene selector.

Summary: The camera is pocket size and easy to take with me, but I have big hands so it's not comfortable while taking pictures. The scene auto selector doesn't always pick the best selection, and the stabilizer isn't always on. I've had to retake photos because the selected scene wasn't the correct one, or the stabilizer wasn't on. I would give it an overall 7 out of 10 for small personal cameras.
Summary: I bought this for my father who is getting older and want to keep up with the times. This was a perfect basic camera for his use. Screen is large enough and there arnt too many buttons to get confused. 1 Con: I was playing with it and realized that pictures in low light are more fuzzy then i would have wanted, but for general basic use, this shouldn't been a major concern.
Summary: I take a average of 35 Photo's a day in my work x 5 days a week etc, I have used Nikon 6.0, 7.0 cameras for a few years now never a real problem except for once the shutter locked up Nikon fix it at no charge and quickly. Very clear Photo's, easy to use. Only drawback is they eat Reg. batteries up, so now I am using re-chargable batteries to save money, it works If used once in awhile Reg batteries are fine.
Great Camera, Love all the features, especially wifi

Summary: Good product, takes clear shots and connects quickly and transfers data well, my only qualms are with the cover for the usb cable port and some of the buttons, they seem a tad fragile, but other than that I underestimated the value of this device, A+++
Summary: Just got my 610c and it's good, not great. Things I like: - WiFi feature is pretty cool. Not exactly sure how much I'll use it but it's nice to be able to share pictures and have online backup on an extended trip, provided you can find a compatible hotspot. - Picture quality is good. I've been a Canon user for years and I think the Canon Digic processor produces better pictures, but the Nikon is very good.
Summary: I bought this camera for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loves it. It does suck the battery life a little more than normal because of the WiFi, but it is worth it to be able to send photos where ever there is an internet connection. It was nice to send this is where we are pics on vacation to people back home and make them jealous! :) Also, large screen is wonderful! Nikon makes a great camera!
Summary: I received a Nikon camera for my birthday and i was bought on a wimm just so I can have something to open. I had a Sony Cybershot pretty old and outdated so a new cam was in order. I researched a lot of cameras and I was going to get a Nikon so I got the S610. should had waited now they offer a touch screen. So this is what I have, it's a very nice camera basically turn it on and shoot only if you have it set to AUTO then it's all good.
