Summary: I had a coolpix before & the quality was nice. My phone takes great pics & I can upload & back up with ease. This isnt as great as I thought it was. I was fine without this camera & I havent used it in months.
Summary: The product is ok but you could get a better camera. It's 10 or 12 megapixels but it doesn't really show. Other than that i've been reading that the touch screen is slow to respond but it's not for me it works perfectly fine.
Summary: This was a used camera and I received it in the mail. The battery would not charge up. I used another nikon charger to see if it was the battery or the charger. It was the charger. I sent the charger back and another was sent to me in the mail. Its not from the original manufaturer (Nikon).
Summary: Within 15 minutes of playing with this camera for the first time, I was ready to send it back. I'm not a professional, but I know a bad picture when I take one. After messing around with ISO settings, white balance, scenes, etc... the pictures still looked grainy.
Summary: We loved this camera. It's a great size and was great for our trip to Italy. But it slowly died due to the common "lens cover error" that so many are also commenting on. It would do that sometimes and then it got to the point where I can't turn the thing on anymore.
Summary: If you haven't been using one of these ultra-compact internal sliding prism digital cameras, then you are missing out. I have over 5000 pictures and 500 videos of experience with cameras like this. I started with the Sony DSC-T1, then the DSC-T9, and most recently the DSC-T300.
Summary: I recieved my Nikon Coolpix S60 as it was advertised. Don't have a problem with it yet and hope i won't in the future. The only thing I have a problem with is its pixels. its clear but very pixelated. i would have preferred the s230, but it was a gift for someone
