Summary: Final Thoughts
I have really enjoyed used the Nikon COOLPIX S570. I think the thing for me that really sets it apart from other compact digital camera that I’ve had is the build quality. The camera is a little heavier that other cameras and has an all metal design. This metal design not only looks cool, but also helps protect the camera. The only thing that I did not like about the design of the camera is that the door on the battery compartment does not auto lock.
Pros: – Solid design, – Easy to use, – Many different shooting modes, – Large clear LCD, – Smooth operation
Cons: – No HD video, – Door on battery compartment does not auto lock
Excerpt: The S570 is a small but nicely formed compact: it weighs less than 150g and, at just 2.2cm at its thickest, it's the perfect size for a pocket. Despite its diminutive size, however, Nikon's latest Coolpix manages to grab huge images - the 12-megapixel sensor creates 4000 x 3000-pixel images at its best-quality setting. Images from the camera are excellent, as we've come to expect from Nikon's Coolpix range, though you're best off ignoring the vaunted ISO3200 setting.
