Summary: This thing finally failed some 7 years after I purchased it. I've used it quite extensively, primarily for outdoor scenery and people snapshots, plus lots of close-up shots of stamps in albums, using a tripod. There are numerous adjustments / controls I never made use of.
Summary: this is a great camera. prefect size for my wife's purse. long battery life. we do get a lot of pictures with red eye though...even with the red eye reduction setting on. the flash also takes a while to reload but the pictures are very clear.
Summary: This camera was sold to me as "new" condition with one year warranty. 6 months later the camera broke, so I sent it into the Nikon Repair center and was promptly informed that the camera was refurbished and the warranty was only 90 days, so guess what, not covered.
Great easy-to-use high-res close-ups but weak flash and long delay.

Summary: I've used this for a couple years now. Maybe someone is reading this review looking to buy a used one. Well my first one arrived with burned out pixels and I promptly returned it. But Amazon's return policy was excellent and the second one arrived without issue.
