Great easy-to-use high-res close-ups but weak flash and long delay.

Summary: Great point & shoot camera: you don't have to worry about framing your shots with this camera, just shoot the overall scene and crop to suit later, as the camera makes good use of its high resolution. Movies are more than good enough for YouTube, even in low light (albeit red-toned in low light).
Excerpt: Picked one of these up on sale a few years ago. I needed something that would live in the farm truck so I'd have something for documentation when I needed it. It has taken a beating in there along with various tools but it still works. The photos are not the sharpest or best exposed, but they're adequate for the purpose I got it for. The camera is tough enough to withstand being piled under heavy stuff and exposed to a lot of dirt and dust.
Summary: The people complaining about using this camera and pictures being fuzzy don't know how to operate camera's. This Nikon has tons of features that allow you to take control of picture settings - and if you don't want to get that granular, you can easily select the picture mode with pre-sets for situations - such as close ups, snowy days, indoors etc.
2 Year review: Great portable P&S camera with disappointing build quality

Summary: I've used this for a couple years now. Maybe someone is reading this review looking to buy a used one. Well my first one arrived with burned out pixels and I promptly returned it. But Amazon's return policy was excellent and the second one arrived without issue. I was actually very impressed with how Amazon handled the situation and it gave me confidence to buy my plasma TV from them more recently.
Summary: I'm no camera geek, I just want one that will last for awhile and take good pictures. I'm pleased, I'll keep it, but I'm learning to have patience with it. The process of actually taking a picture lasts for several seconds. This is a no go for action shots. Soccer moms, look elsewhere. My only other negative with this camera was that when I took a video and attempted to load it to my computer the video didn't transfer.

Summary: I use this camera always. It is easy to use and takes great pictures. I like that I can download to a computer and chose the prints I want to be made. I am also glad it doesn't have a lens that extends out from the camera.
Summary: This is a great camera!!! The only drawback to this camera is the time it takes for the flash to re-charge...otherwise a truly great piece of equipment!!! I've taken it on every trip since I got in June and just love it!!! Learning the "modes" has proven a bit of a challenge, but well worth it for that one good picture!!
