Touchscreen is useful. Non-standard, proprietary USB port sucks. Bad at auto-rotating pictures
27 September 2013
Summary: It works fine. Everything is fairly standard. However, two major complaints; 1. The proprietary USB connector annoys, because its SO CLOSE to being mini-USB yet it some non-standard connector instead. Having to carry around it's special cable is the only way to charge it. It'd be much better if it used micro or mini USB for charging, or also came with a standalone battery charger (one where you pop the battery out and plug into a separate charger). 2.
Summary: The pictures are good. Ease of use for the most part is good. Reviews say this is a wifi camera but I cannot find anything about wifi in the manual or on the camera itself. I did see specific storage cards that were upwards of $89 that said something about wifi compatible, maybe that's what I needed. I'm not sure, just dissappointed because I based my decision on price and features.
Summary: The camera works as advertised. Pleased so far, except for the included software. I needed a new camera which this fulfills and needed software to opn RAW files. Thought I had the best of both worlds here, but the software is usless. Only the third party panoramic software works as advertised. Removed the Nicon stuff and found a Freeware program that loaded right up and does everything I want. Good camera - Lousey software!
Summary: I was looking for a camera that had a quick sutter speed, small and sleek, and touch screen. I was very impressed with the camera--at first. It arrived promptly. My only complaint is that I will never return to a re-chargerable battery camera again. It's very inconvenient. I prefer AA or AAA battery cameras instead. The camera functions fine, but my mistake was not researching what type of battery this camera took.
How do you get the computer to recognize this camera

Summary: I cannot get my computer to recognize the camera from any USB slot. That includes using View NX2. I have to remove the flash drive and install it in the computer before I can retrieve pictures. This truly sucks and I've not figured out any way to fix the problem.
Summary: I was less than impressed with this camera. It is a touch screen camera which is sometimes too sensitive and sometimes not sensitive enough. So, when I want to review my pictures, I have a hard time. In general, I expected a better quality product.
Summary: For all those people who won't read reviews that don't have the 'Verified Purchase' stamp, let me tell you this little story. I bought this camera in white almost two weeks ago. I had some trouble with the touchscreen so I decided to find out some information about international returns.
Summary: So, I do like the camera. However, when you take a picture it shows you the photo but is loading/saving it for 30+ seconds, a pain in the butt. It does not take simultaneous photos... if you put it in sport mode it does take multiple photos but seconds apart so it's virtually the same photo. I would prefer it if it had a slight delay not right after of 30+seconds later. Very crisp photos though.
Summary: Verarbeitung super/Handhabung einfach Aber ich musste feststellen dass sich bei den Aufnahmen ein blauer Strich durchs Bild sieht.Hätte ich noch die Verpackung gehabt hätte ich sie tauschen können.
