Summary: Ummmm.. this camera takes waay too long to record images and so taking pictures in quick succession cannot be considered. I use it only when I absolutely have to. Wouldn't recommend in this day and age.
Nikon COOLPIX S3300 16 MP Digital Camera with 6x Zoom NIKKOR Glass Lens
24 January 2014
Summary: I will start off by saying this isn't a bad camera, for the price you pay its decent, it does have errors and problems, specially with the lens, I have had to warrentee mine 3 times, It sort of easy to use, but it does have a more complicated and extensive features great for people who know how to use them, bad for people who don't. Comes in great colors, easy to travel with you.
On / Off button stopped working 4 months after purchase
30 June 2013
Summary: I purchased this camera as a gift for my sister. Within around 4 months of purchase, I got word that the on/off button stopped working out of the blue. Allegedly, the camera was not dropped nor was anything spilled on it. After investigating the issue myself, the button indeed no longer works 99 out of 100 times. I was able to get the camera to turn on once but was not able to get it to turn off, necessitating removing the battery.
Summary: Bought this for my wife because of the color. Color of camera is great, battery and sd card access door is cheap plastic and I wonder how long it will last. Camera seems to take good pics for a quickie camera.
Summary: Bought this camera based on price, but it takes a lot of blurry pictures. I've tried adjusting the vibration settings etc but its very difficult to take really clear photos. This could be user error on my part but I haven't had this problem with other cameras.
Summary: I love the picture quality---if I can hold the camera still. Even when the camera is just held in your hand it feels slippery and ready to fall to the floor. For every problem there is a solution...I simply attach a small table top tripod and use it as a handle to keep the camera steady!! I also use a lanyard so that the camera can hang around my neck while at the zoo. It may look kinda funny with the small tripod but it works.
