Summary: This camera was already broken when I got it. I attribute this to it's poor quality. It was very, VERY lightweight which I don't think is a good trait in a compant digital camera because it just felt so cheap! And obviously it was. I promptly sent it back for a FujiFilm camera which I have had before and loved! FujiFilm cameras are great cameras and great deals!
Summary: This takes good pictures, it's very small so you can easily take it with you, has the convenient button for hd video. It's a basic camera for those who like to take hassle-free pics. Update: It took good pictures, until a "lens error" came up, and now it doesn't work anymore. This camera didn't even last a year, and it got little use, and was super taken care of.
Summary: I want to say that I like this camera soooo badly! It's very slick looking, nice and small, and a good price. The specs sound great... I bought it because I wanted the 5x optical zoom that seemed at the time to be one of the better ones you can get. I don't care so much for the 14 megapixels because, honestly, I probably won't use more than 5 anyway. The files are just too large if you do. I like that it has the dedicated video button.
Summary: I have had this particular model twice now as the first time I accidently dropped the camera lense first onto the floor and the lense would not open anymore. So I though yea, fair enough my fault ill buy a new one so my dad doesn't find out my birthday present lasted 72 hours. The camera was replaced successfully and now I have had about a years worth of use from it until one day it just decided to have another lense error without any cause and will not work again, the...
Summary: I appreciate this obviously isn't a professional camera and is meant for more casual snapshots, but I find the camera appalling. The settings don't really help much e.g. close up mode is still difficult to focus, firework mode still doesn't take good shots of fireworks, etc. In fact, focusing the camera is a task in itself. It is all "auto-focus". You half-press the button until it has found focus and then fully press the button when it has. There is no manual focus.
