not good customer service, lens jammed the first time we tried to use it

Summary: I got it in the US and gave it as a gift to my daughter in India. She can't just go to a shop and mailing the thing back is too difficult and pricey. So when it jammed on the first try (lens reading message just said Lens Jammed or something like that), we contacted Nikon for assistance. Their suggestion didn't work. Now it's a nice lump of plsatic, glass and a little bit of metal and it never took a picture. Piece of junk with no customer service to speak of.
Summary: This camera takes blurry pictures, I am not happy with it all! I have owned many cameras and bought this one for my 8 year old son mostly because of the waterproof feature. I am very disappointed and would have returned it but he ripped the box apart when he was opening it for his birthday.
Summary: Took it on vacation and used it underwater in the swimming pool, water got into the lens and battery compartment while being used. Then it stopped working. display window started getting dull and then stopped working altogether. apparently the water seal is not properly made. I bought the Coleman hd water proof video camera and this works perfectly in the pool and on the beaches.
Summary: the camera came with everything but a power cord to the battery charger. this was a birthday gift for my 4 year old grandson and he was very disappointed that he could not use it. Called amazon this week before leaving colorado and they sent e-mail to adorama who shipped camera. they sent me an e-mail saying i should contact the manufacturer and gave me telephone number. called Nikon and they would do nothing since they did not ship the order.
Summary: I bought it for my daughter and her family for Christmas, we just go to use it at a pool party and it got water in it and screen is haywire when its comes on. Of course I ordered it to long ago to return here so hoping Nikon will do something about it.
