    Apart from its design, the S3000 doesn't have a great deal going for it. Photo and video quality leave a lot to be desired, with disappointing management of electronic noise and a dynamic range that's too restricted. Read more

CCD image sensor and supported by a 4x zoom NIKKOR lens with 4.9-19.6 mm focal range, f/3.2-5.9 aperture range, up to 4x digital zoom, a 2.7-inch (230k-dot) TFT LCD display with anti-reflection coating, a 47 MB internal memory with SD memory cards support, Electronic VR and up to 3200 ISO sensitivity. The Nikon CoolPix S3000 is powered by rechargeable Li-ion battery which provides users with up to 220 shots. The Nikon CoolPix S3000 measures 94.3 x 55.9 x 19.0 mm (3.8 x 2.2 x 0.8 in.) and weighs 116 g (4.1 oz.) with battery and SD memory card.

Features

The Nikon CoolPix S3000 is a 12.0 effective megapixels for high-resolution images powered by a 4x zoom NIKKOR lens. The camera features a 2.7 inch 230k-dot TFT LCD that allows users to compose their shots as well as share or preview them with friends and family. The camera also features Electronic VR image stabilization that reduces blurry photos. The ISO 3200 sensitivity also allows users to capture images in low light conditions, while Motion Detection mode provides users with sharp, steady results. Other features include Nikon’s original BSS (Best Shot Selector) shoots a maximum of 10 sequential shots and selects the sharpest image; movie shooting at 640 x 480 (30 fps) with sound and Smart Portrait System which includes Face-priority AF, Smart Portrait Mode, Blink Warning and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix. The camera can be charged via its USB interface from a Charging AC Adapter EH-68P/EH-68P (AR) or PC.
