Summary: I bought this item to replace a previous one that got water in the watertight box. I needed the same model to keep on using ythe tight box, but it is no longer in production. I was happy to find one on Amazon, even if the prize was a bit higher than expected.
Summary: I just bought this one. I am no photographer. I just wanted to buy something which was a bit cheap but still produces good pictures. This camera seemed like a god choice out a bunch of sony, canon and samsung of the same price range. I haven't faced ny problem so far except for the fact that the pictures come out too bright at night with auto flash! I like this camera.
Pros: Very easy to use, small size, good quality pictures, affordable price.
Cons: Pictures are a bit too bright when using the flash.
Summary: Bought this a couple of months ago as a budget slip-in-the-pocket point and shoot, a brief the camera ably fulfils. After using on two holidays, the results are generally good especially the detail and sharpness of images at or near wide angle. The main shortcoming is a noticeable softening of focus when using the zoom towards its maximum optical range, even at fast shutter speeds.
Summary: This is a good little camera, very light indeed even with the batteries in and sufficiently sturdy that you can throw it in a bag without worrying too much about it coming out in working order. It's an interesting time for cameras like these, as everyone now has a camera in their smartphone, but this produces much better pictures than the vast majority of smartphone cameras. A good bit of knockabout kit.
Summary: We purchased this camera for our grandaughters 16th birthday and she informed us that the camera is satisfactory for her needs and is pleased its performance. As we havent used it can only go by her comments and feel this review may not reflect a true feed back. However as a birthday present for a teenager felt it was sufficient, in performace and price.
Excerpt: As my grandchildren grow up it is important for us to be able to capture the special moments on camera. I’m not very good at photography and I am definitely a point and click person! I know that there are some fantastic cameras on the market but what is the point in having an expensive showy camera if you do not know how to use it. This camera was bought less than a year ago and it does exactly what we need it to.
Summary: Was pleased with the appearance and size of this camera. Small enough to take with you anywhere. It certainly has a wealth of settings, which you really do not need a university degree in photography to understand - which is just as well as I do not have a degree in anything! Couple of down side I have discovered, hence only 4 stars.
Summary: Well I would have like to review the Nikon Coolpix S2500 Digital Camera - Red..... I ordered the Nikon Coolpix S2500 Digital Camera - Red ..... I received the Nikon Coolpix S2500 Digital Camera - Silver Disappointing but not the end of the world... just it looks really slick in red. Anyway..
Summary: This is a neat little camera that is small and easy to use, with a great quality of picture. I've owned a bunch of similar digital cameras including a panasonic and a sony but I'd say this is the most convenient, even if it does have slightly less features. Only problem for me is that when it arrived it would not work due to a problem with the battery. This was probably an unfortunate one-off but it was frustrating none the less.
Summary: I won't pretend that this is goinng to suddenly turn you into David Bailey or anything like that, but for less than a £100 you are getting a perfectly serviceable "holiday" or "going out" camera. Packed full of the kind of features you'd expect from a Nikon this sleek camera is ultra light in the hand and is certainly the kind of thing that is easy to carry around.
